I've just finished translating a sewing pattern I bought during the semester... Turns out I forgot that Americans work in inches. I have now learnt all kinds of interesting stuff like .5", 1/2" and half an inch are the same thing. :P I'm not entirely sure the pattern maker knew this.
Now, I just need to buy a diary to cover and the fabric to cover it with and hope that my translations are good enough. The pattern itself is really cute.
Maybe I should buy some cheap fabric to begin with...
