Hello again,
I've just finished translating a sewing pattern I bought during the semester... Turns out I forgot that Americans work in inches. I have now learnt all kinds of interesting stuff like .5", 1/2" and half an inch are the same thing. :P I'm not entirely sure the pattern maker knew this.
Now, I just need to buy a diary to cover and the fabric to cover it with and hope that my translations are good enough. The pattern itself is really cute.
Maybe I should buy some cheap fabric to begin with...

I guess this is hello...
Hi! I'm Jana.
And I guess this is my blog... I've started this so I have a space to post the findings of my studies.
Why am I studying things? Well, it's because I'm usually studying to be a librarian and I've found the hardest thing for me to do after my holidays is get back into the habit of just sitting down and writing. So, I came up with the idea that while I pass my time over the summer holidays I will study what I want to know about, trying to keep in the mindset of study.
So, in hopes of staying on track, I'll try to post at least once a week. :D
